Le 4 avril 2023

Since she was 18 years old, Maïssane Aghioul, reality TV candidate seen in Les Marseillais and La bataille des couples is opting for cosmetic surgery. At 24 years old, she opted for surgery or cosmetic medicine 10 times. « I decided to reshape the nose a first time but as I was too young, the cartilage grew back, I did not listen to the surgeon and my bump came back, so I had to do it again. »

Maïssane has undergone 10 procedures in only 6 years

« I had a breast plastic surgery, I’ve done the lips, four times the injections, I’ve opted for Botox to bring up the eyes a little bit and I’ve done the facial contour and my teeth, they’re new! It’s veneers! », continued to smooth Maïssane. And she does not intend to stop. She would now like to have « bigger » thighs and buttocks, like a doll thanks to implants.

Her mother who accompanies her to each of her appointments with her surgeon said : « I am afraid that it becomes an addiction that’s why I try to control a little because we are quickly addicted to cosmetic surgery, especially at that age. »

The problem is that Maïssane Aghioul suffers from dysmorphophobia, that is, she has a distorted and negative vision of her appearance. A pathological obsession that affects more and more young women, especially because of social networks and beauty filters. Moreover, Maïssane can’t stop retouching all the photos she shares on Instagram or elsewhere. « It’s free Botox, » she joked, before adding, more seriously: « There is a diktat of appearance and I participate a little in the sense that I post photos that are clearly modified according to trends. I show myself as I would like to be. »

Maïssane: « I never pose without a filter »

In addition to retouching, Maïssane « never poses without a filter ». « It’s not possible. However, I will try to make an effort, to remember every time, when I have the reflex to tell : « Ah, I’m pretty on this story », I tell myself « ok, if I’m pretty, it’s because I have a filter, the filter is good ». I reason myself like that, » she confessed. Even if she assures that her dysmorphophobic disorder has « a little » decreased since she consults a psychologist.
