Sport involves more or less abrupt movements that can slow down this process or even reopen a wound that has not yet closed perfectly. Moreover, any surgical procedure weakens the body: the patient must allow himself the necessary time to recover!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why is it possible to resume a professional activity before resuming sports again?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A sedentary professional activity or office job does not put excessive strain on muscles and tissues. Therefore, patients can return to work after an average of eight days depending on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aram-clinic.co.uk\/\">plastic intervention<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How long do I have to wait before I can return to sport?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The waiting period is approximately one to two months depending on the type of surgery as well as on the type of sport activity and on the case of each patient. Contrary to popular belief, it is also essential to avoid sports after facial surgery such as rhinoplasty. Cartilage and tissues must not move in order to optimize the result of the surgery.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What are the risks of resuming a physical activity too soon?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The early resumption of sports can lead to more or less important healing problems, edemas or hematomas. If the tissues are pulled, the scar may enlarge or swell (hypertrophic scar).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>How can you resume sport without harming your body?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>First of all, you have to listen to your body. If you feel pain or discomfort, you must stop your activity and rest. It is recommended to mobilize your muscles gradually.
